2018 Basils Farm Rose
Bellarine Pinot Noir fruit with a splash of Viognier, handpicked and sorted in the cool of the morning. Indigenous wild yeasts in the winery gave us a cold fermentation in stainless steel, the wine then matured until its August bottling. This wine has been made with minimal intervention.
The wine is clear and bright, salmon in colour. The nose shows earthy and zesty notes. The palate brings flavours of sour cherry with hints of strawberries and wild raspberries upon opening with a fresh acid finish and creamy notes developing in the glass. Enjoy now!
